Global Chamber  has many committees and councils all of which help the Chamber in its efforts to achieve goals set forth by members and the Board of Directors.

Education Committee

Chair:  Maria Segura, Denver Center for International Studies at Ford

The Education Committee is a strong and active voice for business/education partnerships from a local and international perspective. It has a mission that works to enhance the educational experience by linking academics, business and community to promote real world learning, support partnerships, and encourage and celebrate educational excellence.

Young Professionals Committee

Chair: Trevor Jones, Lynx Global

Young Professionals' Committee members are seen as a vital and active group of Global Chamber.   Young Professionals are under the age of 35.

The Young Professionals' Committee works to increase participation among Young Professionals in services and volunteer opportunities in the region.  The committee serves as an intermediary between young professionals or new graduates moving into the next phase of their professional or academic careers,

Supports and vocalizes the needs of Young Professionals' within the Chamber, and helps define the future of Global Chamber


Meets the 1st Thursday of each month at 4:00p.m.


Colorado Business Council 

Chair: Frances Mickelson, Cornerstone Advisors

The Colorado Business Council is a solution group formed to provide resources to foreign companies looking to create subsidiaries or new businesses in Colorado. The general purpose of the council will be to work collaboratively in promoting, creating and supporting businesses and owners from outside the United States that would look to Colorado as a potential location for their business – primarily those from Latin America

The goal of would be a “one-stop shop” for supporting foreign business owners in building their business in Colorado – we also would harness the power of our collective networks to help foreign owners with the challenges they face not only in building but growing & sustaining their business in Colorado

Public Affairs Council

The Public Affairs Council serves as an advocate for member businesses and their employees before city and state elected officials on legislative and civic issues that have an impact on the economy and profitability of business. This Council informs and educates members on proposed initiatives, policies and legislation which may affect the way business is conducted and profitability maintained.

Global Business Council

Chair: TBD

The Global Business Council of the Global Chamber provides counseling, matchmaking and advocacy to member businesses that seek to enter or expand into overseas markets. This Council organizes networking and informational events related to international business, educates members on foreign business opportunities and challenges, identifies potential overseas partners, and helps promote and protect members' global commercial interests.
